I've been writing this week on the fact that the U.S. is well behind the rest of the developed world in applying AI to improving citizen services. This article summarizes that point by giving an overview of what was discussed at the Tallinn Digital Summit.
The event included leaders from government, private sector and academia from 23 different countries. They shared ideas, experiences and lessons learned, all focused on how to use AI to improve citizens' lives. While there were U.S. participants in this summit, the U.S. is not having these summits ourselves. This is worth a few minutes to read and learn what those other countries are thinking about.
The Tallinn Digital Summit brought together over 200 experts from 23 digitally-minded countries, top leaders from governments, private sector, and scientist to discuss the use and applications of a current hot topic: Artificial Intelligence (AI) for public value.
