So, here's a story about the potential value of AI. The federal government's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is working on preventing emerging diseases from 'spilling over' into the human population. There's still much to learn about how to most effectively use this tech for such a purpose, but we certainly won't learn unless we try.
This is worth a quick read just so you know a bit about what's going on. And, maybe give you some ideas for how you might be able to use it in your government organization.
