Useful read on Law360 by Silvia Martelli about foreign access to online evidence.

The piece talks about how European Union leaders have agreed on a draft directive that would govern how investigators get access to digital evidence held elsewhere in the bloc in an attempt to make it easier to track criminals who use technology to break the law.

This is really interesting and from my perspective good to see that governments and regulators are reacting to our changing world and making adjustments to try and allow law enforcement agencies to track criminals more effectively. We all have to adapt and develop, and this is a positive move.
