Mariah Rodriguez is a Director with Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations in Miami. She specializes in complex data issues. Her primary areas of concentration are Data Quality, Financial Crimes Investigations, FinTech's, Money Service Businesses, and implementation of compliance programs.
With more than 15 years of data and financial industry experience, Mrs. Rodriguez has spent her career streamlining data processes to reduce inefficiencies and create capacity across various business units for global organizations. Through her understanding of data models and data quality, Ms. Rodriguez has been able to resolve complex data problems in response to operational, compliance, and regulatory concerns.
Prior to joining A&M, she served as the Head of US Client Data for a Fortune 100 global financial institution. Mrs. Rodriguez led a global data change initiative to satisfy various regulatory reporting requirements. She was responsible for ensuring data flows were streamlined from trade initiation to reporting to reduce processing costs. In her last role, she was responsible for ensuring broker dealer client attributes complied within Tax and US Regulations. Mrs. Rodriguez has extensively worked with the US and Foreign regulators to remediate rule violations, and data remediation's of international banks.
Mrs. Rodriguez has worked in Forensic Investigations, Bankruptcy Cases, Anti-Money Laundering Compliance, Correspondent Banking, Transaction Look-Backs, as well as other compliance related work for Financial and non-financial institutions.
Mrs. Rodriguez earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of North Florida, and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. She is Series 99 FINRA licensed, Six Sigma certified and a Relativity Administrator. She is also a native Spanish speaker, and a member of the Women’s White-Collar Defense Association (WWCDA).
